The role of a B2B Data Researcher at BruntWork
We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven B2B Data Researcher to support outbound sales initiatives by building high-quality, targeted prospect lists. This role is critical in ensuring a consistent pipeline of qualified leads for appointment setters and sales teams.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in B2B lead research, data enrichment, and CRM/database management, with a focus on accuracy, relevance, and scalability.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (US Mountain Time, 40 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research to identify and build targeted lead lists within specific industries, including:
- ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) providers
- Healthcare clinics
- Educational institutions (schools, learning centers)
- Utilize tools such as Apollo.io, LinkedIn, and other data platforms to source and validate leads
- Clean, scrub, and enrich raw lead data to ensure usability and accuracy
- Maintain a 20–40% usability benchmark for data quality as discussed with stakeholders
- Identify and verify key decision-makers within organizations (e.g., owners, directors, administrators)
- Source and validate contact information, including:
- Business emails
- Direct phone numbers
- Company details and firmographics
- Continuously deliver fresh, qualified leads to support appointment-setting and outbound sales efforts
- Maintain organized records of leads and activities within CRM systems or spreadsheets
- Collaborate with appointment setters and sales teams to refine targeting criteria and improve lead quality
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in B2B lead generation, prospecting, or data research
- Hands-on experience with Apollo.io or similar lead generation tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, Lusha, Hunter)
- Strong understanding of data enrichment, validation, and list building best practices
- Experience identifying and targeting decision-makers across industries
- High level of attention to detail and data accuracy
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or CRM platforms
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
