Community Operations Coordinator
Description
Circle is seeking a Community Operations Coordinator to bring structure and momentum to their growing customer community of over 10,000 paying communities. The role focuses on streamlining operations, communications, and member experience as the community scales. You’ll serve as the central hub that connects events, programs, and communications, ensuring members feel informed, supported, and engaged.
Key responsibilities include managing community communications across events and programs, coordinating monthly challenges and key programs through targeted outreach, writing weekly digests and monthly roundups, owning systems behind core programs including events and Circle Academy course launches, scheduling and announcing community events, providing program support and troubleshooting, partnering with Community Managers on member experience, moderating content and managing AI agents, and maintaining community organization through tagging and content management.
Requirements
- Strong alignment with Circle’s company values
- Proficient English at CEFR Level C2/ILR Level 5 (spoken, written, reading)
- 3+ years experience in community management, customer marketing, or community operations, ideally in customer-facing or product-driven communities
- Experience designing and executing educational/engagement programs (product education, newsletters, challenges, live events)
- Excellent written communication skills with ability to craft clear, timely, on-brand messages
- Comfortable using data to evaluate communications performance and identify improvements
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Sharp attention to detail with passion for improving systems and processes
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools, preferably with familiarity in modern community platforms, segmentation tools, and content management systems
- Adaptability and comfort navigating ambiguity
- Bonus: Experience at community-led businesses and familiarity with Circle’s product/platform

- Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 USD per year (subject to annual review and increase)
