About the Role
We’re hiring a Content and Marketing Associate to support Tix’s growth in Ghana.
This role is a great fit for someone who is creative with content and also comfortable handling other marketing activities such as campaigns and offline activations. You’ll be a key player in shaping Tix’s brand presence in Ghana by helping us connect with event organizers and attendees.
You will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Assist the marketing team in creating engaging photo and video content for Tix’s social media accounts that appeal to the Ghanaian target audience.
- Edit and publish short-form video content tailored for social platforms.
- Track performance of content and suggest optimizations to improve reach and engagement.
Marketing Campaigns
- Support in planning and executing digital and offline marketing campaigns for Tix in Ghana.
- Build relationships with creators, influencers, and event organizers to promote Tix events.
- Assist in coordinating partnerships and co-marketing opportunities for Tix in Ghana.
Events & Activations
- Attend and cover key events in Accra to generate authentic content.
- Support in planning on-the-ground campaigns and activations.
Skills & Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in content creation, marketing, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of social media and trends in Ghana.
- Creativity, storytelling skills, and confidence being on-camera.
- A strong passion for trying new adventures, being on camera and creating creator-led content.
- Exceptional written, presentation, and verbal communication skills and ability to interpret creative briefs.
- An unwavering commitment to precision and detail in all your work.
- An open mind, a willingness to learn, and a solid commitment to continuous self-improvement.
Nice to Haves
- Experience running or supporting paid digital campaigns.
- Familiarity with the events and entertainment space in Ghana.
- A strong personal brand on any social media platform.
- Not opposed to attending late-night and weekend events.
