The role of a Marketing & Content Management Virtual Assistant at 20four7VA

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

The objective of each engagement is to look for a creative and detail-oriented Marketing & Content Management Virtual Assistant to support our marketing and brand initiatives.

This role focuses on editing video content, managing our YouTube channel, creating marketing materials, and ensuring a consistent and professional brand presence across digital platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, understands video-based marketing, and can manage multiple content-related tasks efficiently.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

  • Video Editing & Content Creation
    Edit long-form YouTube videos and short-form clips for marketing and social media
    Apply basic branding elements, transitions, captions, and visual enhancements
    Optimize videos for clarity, engagement, and professional presentation
  • YouTube Channel Management
    Upload and publish videos using YouTube Studio
    Create and update titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails
    Follow basic YouTube SEO and best practices to improve visibility
  • Graphic Design & Marketing Materials
    Design brochures, flyers, and digital marketing assets
    Ensure all materials align with brand guidelines and visual standards
    Support sales and marketing teams with polished collateral
  • Brand Consistency & Revisions
    Maintain a consistent brand look and tone across platforms
    Implement feedback quickly and revise content as requested
    Organize and manage content files and deadlines effectively


Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

EXPECTED DELIVERABLES

  • Edited long-form and short-form video content
  • Properly uploaded and optimized YouTube videos
  • Branded marketing materials (brochures, flyers, digital assets)
  • Consistent, professional visual presence across platforms


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

  • Experience & Skills
    1–3 years of experience in video editing, digital marketing, or graphic design
    Experience editing marketing or promotional videos
    Strong attention to detail and visual judgment
    Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions quickly
  • Industry Knowledge (Preferred, Not Required)
    Familiarity with YouTube best practices (thumbnails, titles, basic SEO)
    Experience creating B2B or professional marketing content
    Industrial, manufacturing, or capital equipment marketing experience is a plus

APPLICATION SOFTWARE / TOOLS

  • Video Editing
    CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
  • Graphic Design
    Canva (required)
    Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop (a plus)
  • Platforms
    YouTube Studio
    LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook
  • Productivity
    Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Sheets)
  • Technical Requirements
    Reliable computer capable of video editing
    Stable internet connection

Work Schedule

  • Contracted Hours per Week: 40 Hours
  • Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday
  • Daily Working Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (flexible)

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

  • Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
  • This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
  • All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
