Customer Success Specialist

Bitwarden is seeking a Customer Success Specialist for the EMEA region to work remotely on a Saturday through Tuesday schedule (4 x 10-hour days). The role involves helping Bitwarden users through their email support system, with most inquiries resolved the same day.

As a Customer Success Specialist, you’ll function as a Subject-Matter Expert for Bitwarden and their suite of services, expand skills across all Bitwarden applications to guide and train users on features and functionality, work with customers to solve current issues and identify future solutions, provide excellent customer support, assist with billing and account management, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Development, and Product teams. The position requires becoming a Bitwarden product expert to handle common product questions, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction through swift, accurate, and clear communication.

Requirements

  • Passion for helping Bitwarden users
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with skills to find and communicate solutions effectively
  • Strong sense of empathy and ability to advocate for others
  • Experience from previous technical position (Systems Administrator, Quality Assurance Technician, Support Technician, Help Desk Technician, etc.) or equivalent education/demonstrable skills
  • Ability and desire to work remotely
  • Must be based in the EMEA region
  • Availability to work Saturday through Tuesday (4 x 10-hour days)
  • Preferred familiarity with: Bitwarden, Windows/macOS/Linux, iOS & Android, Command-line interface (CLI), Docker, GitHub, Freshdesk, HTML, HTTP, DNS, TLS/SSL, PKI
  • Self-starter with experience troubleshooting web and mobile technologies
  • Stellar grammar, attention to detail, and ability to explain complex concepts simply
