Data Assistant

About the role:

Due to the extraordinary variety of goods and better pricing structure in US e-commerce, global shopping in US retail markets has been popular for many years now. However, this industry is mostly used by a handful of tech savvy users, who understand how e-wallets, VPN’s and other technologies work, enabling them to buy overseas. We are building this platform, so the remaining majority of global shoppers are also able to gain access to the vast online shopping sites in the USA.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and responsible individual who enjoys working with data to join us as a Data Assistant.
No prior experience in e-commerce is required – this is an entry-level role, ideal for someone who’s curious, careful, and enjoys digging into data.

You’ll be working closely with our team to ensure high-quality product information and smooth customer experience. Typical tasks include entering data into our CMS, testing product pages and search functionality.

This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in a growing e-commerce start-up.

Key responsibilities:

• Enter and update product data in our content management system (CMS) with accuracy and attention to detail
• Test product pages and search functionality from the user’s perspective to make sure everything works smoothly
• Help organize retailer and product information based on internal guidelines and business needs
• Keep an eye on platform content quality — flagging inconsistencies, outdated info, or missing data
• Support the team in maintaining clean and structured data that helps users easily find what they’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with data and doesn’t mind repetitive or small tasks – accuracy matters most
• Is detail-oriented, responsible, and careful when entering or checking information
• Has basic experience using Excel or Google Sheets (nothing advanced – just comfort with working in spreadsheets)
• Feels comfortable navigating online tools and platforms
• Can stay focused and organized while working independently
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Have excellent organizational skills and be able to prioritize tasks and maintain accuracy while meeting deadlines
