The role of an E-commerce Product Catalog Specialist at BruntWork
Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented E-commerce Product Catalog Specialist to support the maintenance and growth of their product catalog. This role is responsible for ensuring product information is accurate, complete, visually appealing, and consistently presented across eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate has strong administrative skills, enjoys working with data and product information, and is comfortable managing images, specifications, and product listings within eCommerce systems.
Schedule: Monday – Friday : 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Sydney, NSW Time
Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and maintain product listings across Shopify and related platforms
- Ensure product information, specifications, dimensions, pricing, and descriptions are accurate and up to date
- Upload, organize, and manage product images and digital assets
- Adjust image proportions, cropping, and sizing using Figma or similar design tools
- Maintain consistency and accuracy across product catalogs and collections
- Prepare and update product documentation, spreadsheets, and inventory-related records
- Conduct quality assurance checks to identify and correct content discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and publish product information
- Support catalog launches, product updates, and seasonal collection releases
- Organize and maintain digital files and product resources
- Assist with general eCommerce and product administration tasks as required
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Product Content Administration, eCommerce Administration, Product Catalog Management, or a related role
- Experience using Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms (WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, Neto, etc.)
- Experience with Figma or similar tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, Sketch, or Photopea
- Strong proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Google Workspace, eCommerce content management platforms, and data entry
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple products and tasks simultaneously
- Comfortable following processes and maintaining documentation
- Applicants with portfolios will be prioritized
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
- Experience working with furniture, home décor, retail, or lifestyle products
- Knowledge of product data management and digital asset management
- Experience with bulk product uploads and catalog maintenance
- Familiarity with image optimization and eCommerce merchandising best practices

- Catalog updates are completed efficiently and on time
- Product information remains consistent across all sales channels
