The role of a Recruiter and Interviewer at Day Translations
Day Translations is hiring a remote Interviewer and Recruiter to join our global HR team. This is a 100% remote role that requires exceptional professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to conduct several video interviews and role-playing calls per day. You’ll be responsible for ensuring every candidate we consider reflects our standards of excellence and fits our growth-focused culture.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct multiple video interviews daily with applicants across various roles
- Lead structured role-playing calls to evaluate real-time communication and job-specific performance
- Study each job position thoroughly to understand required skills and characteristics
- Screen for growth mindset, professionalism, and team alignment
- Ensure every interaction reflects the standards and image of Day Translations
- Maintain detailed notes and applicant feedback within our recruitment system
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand needs and refine selection criteria
Requirements:
- Fluent in English, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in recruiting and interviewing, preferably in fast-paced or remote environments
- Confident and engaging video presence (must be comfortable on camera)
- Stable high-speed internet, high-quality camera, and microphone required
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to assess character and fit with precision
- Passionate about finding and recruiting individuals who align with our mission and culture
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the localization and translation industry
- Experience conducting behavioral interviews or structured assessments
- Prior use of ATS systems and virtual recruitment tools
This is a remote-only position. You can be based anywhere in the world, but you must be punctual, professional, and available for video calls during agreed working hours.
