Senior IT Project Manager
Overview of the Role: Ideal candidate will have proven experience in technical implementation projects and migrations in both the commercial and government sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-profile Intune implementation and migration project, ensuring timely, completion within scope and budget
- Oversee all project phases with tactical approach: discovery, design, configuration, testing, roll-out, and transition
- Own the requirements gathering process through detailed interaction with project stakeholders
- Understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure satisfaction all around
- Identify and mitigate risks for all phases of the project, keeping a detailed plan and timeline
- Work with the larger team to openly identify issues and find resolutions
- Develop project documentation and provide regular interim status updates
- Oversee timely delivery and quality of project documentation and deliverables
- Develop project communications and work with the stakeholders to refine end-user facing material and execute on change management
- Schedule and run weekly project status calls in collaboration with customer project team stakeholders
- Provide weekly and monthly project updates and reports for governance with all stakeholders in mind
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience managing projects centered on IT infrastructure and transitioning on-prem services to cloud technologies
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex IT projects
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 and its use in the Enterprise context
- Strong understanding of endpoint management and migration
- Excellent project management skills, with a focus on customer service and consulting mindset
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to leverage AI to get work done better and faster
- Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or similar certification required
- Having managed projects for a managed services provider is a plus
