This role is for an SEO Outreach and Backlinking Specialist to support a dynamic software company serving the nonprofit sector. The specialist will drive organic growth, enhance digital visibility, and execute strategic link-building campaigns across three nonprofit-focused websites. This position is ideal for someone with SEO expertise, strong outreach skills, and a passion for helping nonprofits maximize their impact.
Job Highlights
Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 20 hours
Schedule: Monday to Friday, around 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM MST (US business hours)
Work Arrangement: Work from home
Contract: Independent Contractor
Side Note:
Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an Independent Contractor, the selected candidate must have their own computer and reliable internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. Professional fees are on an hourly basis and may depend on performance during the application process.
Responsibilities
- Execute targeted SEO outreach campaigns to secure high-quality backlinks across three nonprofit software websites
- Develop and implement comprehensive backlinking strategies tailored to the nonprofit technology sector
- Conduct professional outreach to website owners, bloggers, and industry publications to establish valuable link partnerships
- Analyze website performance metrics and track the effectiveness of backlinking initiatives using industry-standard tools
- Research and identify strategic link-building opportunities within nonprofit software and related industries
- Manage multiple concurrent outreach campaigns while maintaining high quality standards and attention to detail
Requirements
- 2–5 years of proven experience in SEO and strategic link building
- Strong foundation in search engine optimization principles, including keyword research and competitive analysis
- Demonstrated success in creating and executing effective backlinking strategies
- Proficiency with SEO tools and analytics platforms for performance tracking and reporting
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to measure, interpret, and report on backlink performance
- Outstanding communication skills for effective outreach to website owners and industry contacts
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management abilities for handling multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Experience working in B2B software or nonprofit sectors is highly preferred
