Job Description
This is a remote position.
You’ll be the bridge between engineering and business, translating customer needs into technical requirements while ensuring our AI platform delivers maximum value to enterprise customers. This role combines product strategy with hands-on technical work, requiring deep understanding of both customer problems and technical solutions.
What You’ll Build
- Product Strategy: Define roadmap for AI agents and platform capabilities based on customer feedback and market analysis
- Technical Requirements: Write detailed technical specifications and API documentation for engineering teams
- Customer Engineering: Work directly with enterprise customers on technical integrations and custom solutions
- Developer Experience: Design and document APIs, SDKs, and integration guides for customer technical teams
- Competitive Intelligence: Analyze competitor products and identify technical differentiation opportunities
Core Responsibilities
Product Strategy (40% of time):
- Define product roadmap based on customer interviews, usage analytics, and business objectives
- Prioritize features using quantitative frameworks (impact vs effort, customer value, revenue potential)
- Work with sales and customer success to understand enterprise customer technical requirements
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify market positioning opportunities
Technical Documentation & Requirements (35% of time):
- Write detailed technical specifications for AI agents and platform features
- Create and maintain API documentation and integration guides
- Design system architecture diagrams and technical workflows
- Define acceptance criteria and success metrics for engineering features
Customer Engineering (25% of time):
- Lead technical discussions with enterprise customers during sales cycles
- Support customer implementations and troubleshoot integration issues
- Gather technical feedback and translate into product improvements
- Present technical capabilities to customer engineering teams
Key Relationships
- Engineering Teams: Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Sales Team: Provide technical expertise during enterprise sales cycles
- Customer Success: Support technical customer questions and implementation issues
- Leadership: Present data-driven product strategy and roadmap recommendations
Requirements
Required Experience
- 4+ years product management with B2B SaaS focus, preferably enterprise
- Technical Background: CS degree or equivalent, with ability to read and write code
- Enterprise SaaS Experience: Deep understanding of enterprise customer needs and IT workflows
- Product Analytics: Experience with PostHog, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar analytics platforms
- Customer-Facing: Strong communication skills for presenting to technical audiences
- Data-Driven: Experience using analytics and customer feedback to drive product decisions
Technical Skills
Required: - Product management tools (Linear, Notion, etc.) - Product analytics (PostHog, Mixpanel, Amplitude) - Basic programming (Python/JavaScript) - SQL for data analysis - System architecture understanding - Technical writing and documentation Preferred: - AI/ML product experience - Enterprise integration patterns - API design and documentation - Customer success engineering - Technical sales support - A/B testing and experimentation
Preferred Background
- Enterprise B2B Product Management: Previous PM role with complex enterprise sales cycles and technical evaluations
- IT/Infrastructure Products: Understanding of enterprise IT workflows, automation, and support processes
- AI/ML Products: Experience with AI product challenges and customer adoption patterns
- Customer Success: Experience in customer-facing technical roles
- Startup Experience: Understanding of resource constraints and rapid iteration
