Team

We are a small international team (24 people from 10 different countries) with a flat organization. The language of the team is English.

About your role
At TourScanner, we are looking for an experienced designer for a long-term part-time job. It’s not a short term collaboration, but we need a designer fully integrated in our team. The position is part-time for the moment, but it might be switched to full time in the future if the conditions change and it’s fine for both of us.

You will work on the design of the pages of our website with the following activities:

• Create mock-ups and prototypes for new pages
• Create a proper design system for our website, making it congruent with different existing designs
• Modify the FIGMA files under implementation according to the design system
• Support the implementation of new designs interacting with the front-end developers
• Ideate improvements to our pages
• Analyse user behaviour to design improvements to increase conversion rate and retention

Requirements

• Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles for complex web applications
• Ability to create wire-frames, build high-fidelity mock-ups and applying design thinking to solve business problems
• 3-6 years of proven experience as a UI web designer, including the creation of dynamic pages already implemented and working. References will be checked.
• Proven experience with Figma
• Availability for at least 24 hours per week, divided into 3 full working days.
• Strong communication skills in English

In the portfolio, please include links to the implementation of designs on dynamic websites or apps that can be tested. Those will be considered more important.

Details of the position

• Full remote work (CET +/- 1 time zones)
• 24 hours per week over 3 full days.
• Salary range as a contractor between 1,500€ and 2,200€ monthly (for 24 hours of work)
