The role of a YouTube Content Repurposing & Social Media Support Virtual Assistant at 20four7VA
Overview
20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and reliable Virtual Assistant to support a growing media and content-focused business managing multiple podcasts and YouTube channels, as well as a web and graphic design business.
The primary focus of this role is to support the growth of YouTube channels by repurposing long-form content into short-form social media assets and helping distribute content across multiple platforms.
The VA will work closely with content output from podcasts and YouTube videos, helping transform them into engaging social media posts for Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Pinterest.
The client prefers a more thoughtful and strategic approach to content repurposing and is somewhat cautious about heavy AI use for graphics, so a balance of creativity and authenticity is important.
The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.
Scope of Services
Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:
Content Repurposing (Podcast & YouTube Support)
Repurpose podcast and YouTube video content into short-form clips, captions, and social media posts.
Use tools like Descript to extract highlights, clips, and key talking points.
Identify engaging moments from long-form content for distribution across platforms.
Support consistent content output across multiple shows and channels.
Social Media Content Creation & Posting
Create and schedule social media posts for Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Pinterest.
Develop varied content formats, including promotional posts, quote cards, highlights, and engagement posts.
Ensure content aligns with each channel’s tone and audience.
Post content when videos/podcasts are released and maintain posting consistency.
Assist in basic content planning and post variation ideas.
Content Growth Support for YouTube Channels
Support growth efforts for multiple YouTube channels
Assist in optimizing content distribution to increase reach and engagement.
Help maintain consistency in posting and content repurposing workflows.
Provide input on improving engagement through content packaging (titles, captions, hooks).
Administrative & Creative Support
Assist with organizing content files, scripts, and media assets.
Maintain a content calendar or posting schedule.
Support basic coordination between podcast episodes, video uploads, and social media rollouts.
Help streamline workflows for content distribution and repurposing.
Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.
Skills
The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:
1–2+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, virtual assistance, or digital marketing preferred.
Experience using Descript or similar video/audio editing tools is a strong plus.
Strong experience in photo and video editing is required (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar tools).
Familiarity with social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Pinterest.
Strong English writing skills for captions, hooks, and post creation.
Creative mindset with the ability to repurpose content into engaging formats.
Organized, reliable, and able to manage recurring content tasks.
Comfortable working independently and following content workflows.
Experience in podcast or YouTube content support is a plus, but not required.
Basic graphic design skills are helpful.

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.
Terms of Engagement
Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
