The role of a Legal Assistant at Laulau

We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant with 2+ years of experience in working for US firms. Candidate should have healthcare experience or familiar with basic healthcare terms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing calendaring and scheduling
  • Handling inbox and basic email responses
  • Organizing the leads spreadsheet and ensuring follow-ups with prospects
  • Preparing emails for cold outreach
  • Monitoring Slack and other message channels
  • Referring clients based on fit and contact list
  • ⁠Populating basic engagement letter forms
  • ⁠Sending monthly invoices, organizing documents
  • Proactively suggesting ways to streamline workflow

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or similar role
  • Background in healthcare or familiarity with basic healthcare terminology
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong command of written English – grammar, tone, and clarity are essential
  • Proficiency with Slack, Gmail, Ms Office
  • Familiarity with legal software (Clio, MyCase, etc.) is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
