The role of a Legal Assistant at Laulau
We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant with 2+ years of experience in working for US firms. Candidate should have healthcare experience or familiar with basic healthcare terms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing calendaring and scheduling
- Handling inbox and basic email responses
- Organizing the leads spreadsheet and ensuring follow-ups with prospects
- Preparing emails for cold outreach
- Monitoring Slack and other message channels
- Referring clients based on fit and contact list
- Populating basic engagement letter forms
- Sending monthly invoices, organizing documents
- Proactively suggesting ways to streamline workflow
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or similar role
- Background in healthcare or familiarity with basic healthcare terminology
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong command of written English – grammar, tone, and clarity are essential
- Proficiency with Slack, Gmail, Ms Office
- Familiarity with legal software (Clio, MyCase, etc.) is a plus
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
